Instead of buying a card from the store to tell my husband I love him on Valentine's Day, I usually just make my own. Here are a couple DIY Glitter Valentine's Day Cards I've made so far this year.

As I put together this post, my boys are both snoozing away.  I can't wait until they wake up tomorrow so I can let them see it. After looking at all of the awesome bedroom and treehouse photos, they already want me to transform their bed into a castle. Now, they are going to want me to design a home gym, bowling alley, and an indoor pool in our basement!

It probably would make us the coolest house on the block though...

The couch we currently have in the living room needed to be replaced about two years ago.  Actually, it's a loveseat, and with 5 people in the house and visiting friends on the weekend, it isn't exactly helping us out any either.  I'm determined to update soon, and since I'm on a budget, I have to plan and save accordingly.

If you didn't know they existed, now you do.  You can find Little Free Libraries spread across the U.S. Check out this map to see if there is one near you.  Or, you can make your own!

Here's a little information about these tiny, free libraries

The first one was built by Todd Bol of Hudson, Wisconsin, in 2009.  To honor his mother, who was a teacher with a love for reading, he built a tiny one room school house and placed it in his front yard filled with books for his neighbors, or anyone passing by to take and enjoy.

At the end of the first year after the official launch of the Little Free Library initiative in 2010, there were just about 400 tiny libraries across the country.  That number quickly grew to a total of nearly 15,000 (and growing) in January 2014.  That is a tremendous growth!

So, what's the purpose of all these tiny libraries?  The goal is "To promote literacy and the love of reading by building free book exchanges worldwide and to build a sense of community as we share skills, creativity and wisdom across generations."

I have a whole box full of artwork that I've done and today I decided to pull some pieces out for display.  I started with frames, and didn't really like the finished look, so I took it all down and started over.  I'm very pleased with what I ended up with - a diy wall art collage.  I hope this might inspire you to create your own artwork or your own art wall.

I also put together a smaller display on another wall.

I came across these next bathroom photos, and instantly fell in love.  It reminds me of a bathroom you would see while on vacation.

 I would be more than happy to wake up and get ready in a tropical bathroom like this every day.
